CHEMICAL PEEL

A peel is an anti-aging treatment with a host of benefits that include exfoliation, but it also builds collagen, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, boosts radiance, shrinks pore size, diminishes dark spots, clears the complexion, and can even help with rosacea,

How it works

Chemical peels are performed with an acidic solution that removes the outer, damaged layers of the skin. Upon removal of damaged skin, the new, regenerated skin is smoother and less wrinkled.

There is little to no downtime, though some redness and discomfort may occur immediately following the peel. Minimal flaking and/or peeling may occur several days following the treatment.

Benefits

  • Reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth.
  • Treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging.
  • Improve the appearance of mild scars and skin texture.
  • Treat certain types of acne.
  • Reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills.
  • Areas of sun damage may improve after chemical peeling.
  • Chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, or hands
