This procedure is often performed after breast reconstruction or a mastectomy. Areola reconstruction can either drastically reduce the appearance of surgery scars or create a new nipple altogether. Areola colors can be custom-made by the artist performing the procedure and shadowing micro pigmentation techniques are used to create a natural-looking effect.
Much like a body tattoo, this treatment uses the art of tattooing to recreates the nipple area to the extent it needs recreation.
